No. 1-seed Indiana (13-0, 9-0 Big Ten) is set to take on No. 9-seed Alabama (11-3, 7-1 SEC) in the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal Rose Bowl Game at the Rose Bowl Stadium on Thursday afternoon in Pasadena, California.
The Hoosiers are coming off of a 13-10 Big Ten Football Championship game win over No. 2-seed Ohio State. That game was all the way back on December 6, so they’ve had quite a bit of downtime between then and now. Indiana used that time to get healthier from injuries and start on a handful
of offseason moves, mostly in roster retention.
The Crimson Tide are coming off of a 34-24 win at No. 8-seed Oklahoma in the first round, the first road win in College Football Playoff history. Alabama bounced back after a season-opening loss to Florida State, losing just a single game in SEC play, against Oklahoma, before falling to No. 3-seed Georgia in the SEC Championship game. Alabama bears the distinction of a win over each of its losses to SEC programs, beating the Bulldogs in the regular season and the Sooners in the playoff.
Here’s how to watch the game.
