This is a big one. Everyone knows that. It’s the #1 team coming into Mackey Arena to give Purdue their only shot to stay in the Big Ten race. Michigan has just one loss on the season both in conference and on the season. If Purdue can take down Michigan tonight, and get within one game in the loss column, their hopes for a Big Ten title remain alive. If however, the #1 team in the country remains the #1 team in the country after this one they will likely have all but wrapped up the conference crown.
Yeah, there are still games remaining but it would basically be over. Purdue has a lot to prove in this game tonight. They’ll have to put together their best 40 minutes of the season to win this one. It will also fall on the fans to bring the heat against the Wolverines.
