Real Madrid left-back Marc Cucurella talked to the press after the team’s convincing 4-1 win over Sevilla in La Liga. The Spanish defender was pleased with the effort.
“I think we played a very good game from the start. We had quite a bit of control and knew when to attack quickly and when to maintain more possession. I think we played a very solid 90 minutes,” he said.
Cucurella was also very happy for Eder Militao, who made his return from injury last night.
“He’s a great player with a lot of personality.
He also contributes a lot to the locker room. He’s a very cheerful guy, and I’m very happy to have him back. Now, we have just a few injured players, but little by little, we’re getting there. The important thing is to have everyone available. It’s a very long season. There are many matches, and the more players we have available, the better,” he explained.
Lastly, he previewed the upcoming match against Leipzig in the Champions League.
“Securing a victory against Leipzig would be very important. We know that the Champions League is a special competition. We are very eager to achieve something important, and it’s crucial to get the three points at home and ensure three wins,” he concluded.
