The Kentucky Wildcats gutted out a win Wednesday afternoon as they took down the LSU Tigers in Nashville. Now, they have another Tiger team waiting on them today as they prepare to face off with Dennis Gates and the Missouri Tigers. Game time is set for 12:30 PM ET/11:30 AM ET on SEC Network. You can stream the game online with WatchESPN.
The No. 8 seed in the SEC Tournament this season, the Tigers had a very solid year that included a win in Rupp Arena early in SEC play. Now, they will look to spoil
the Cats’ bid for a deeper run in Nashville today while also boosting their own NCAA Tournament resume. Most of the Bracketology projections have Mizzou as a 10 or 11 seed in the Big Dance, so the Tigers could really use a win here.
Back in January, Kentucky led for most of the game in Lexington, as Mark Pope and his team looked poised for a victory over Missouri, then went ice-cold in the final few minutes, allowing the Tigers to pull off the come-from-behind win.
Kentucky looked decent in Game 1, but they’ll definitely need to tighten a few things up if they hope to get to Friday and a date with the Florida Gators.
Should be a fun one in Bridgestone this afternoon.
