The Las Vegas Raiders are getting ready for their Week 1 matchup vs the Miami Dolphins. Of course, the biggest question heading into the game is the health of Ashton Jeanty.
Jeanty got injured after the second preseason game with a sprained ankle. It was reported to be much worse at first, but the franchise got good news that it was not a serious injury.
The question now becomes: will he be ready for Week 1? Klint Kubiak was asked about it earlier in the week and gave a the simple answer of “Yes”.
The head coach didn’t want to divulge too much information, but all signs point to the former first-round pick being ready to go.
In this week’s SB Nations Reacts, we ask Raider Nation if they think Ashton Jeanty will be ready Week 1. Raider Nation has faith in the young running back’s recovery, with 57% believing he will be ready.
Of course, fans should expect an extra dose of Mike Washington Jr. His emergence during the preseason means Jeanty doesnt have to handle the workload until he becomes fully healthy. Hopefully it’s sooner rather than later.
