Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Cardinals fans and fans across the country.
The Arizona Cardinals are 1-0 and outside of the fanbase and the team, not many people saw that coming.
That is why when this weeks confidence poll came back, it wasn’t a surprise to see a big jump, from 67% to 85% of fans are confident in the direction of the franchise.
Winning is all that matters in the NFL, and if you do that, fans will
find a way to believe in the product.
What was more interesting to me is what got Cardinals fans most excited and that was the stellar defensive performance.
I was actually surprised with how inefficient the offense was in the redzone to see the play calling beat out maybe the best special teams performance we have seen in a decade from the team, but I do know that specials does not move the needle quite like a good offense.
It should be an interesting one today, as the Cardinals are 4.5-point underdogs to the Seahawks, and the money is on the Cardinals to cover, slightly. What makes that so interesting is that the money is on the under 41.5-points according to our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook.
So, could we see a 17-13 type of game?
