According to a report from Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, the rumored desire for Bayern Munich to lock up its budding star Lennart Karl could be well-received by the player and his camp.
As previously reported, Karl would be set for a big raise as part of a new deal:
🚨📈 Lennart #Karl and Michael Ballack are very open to a long-term extension at FC Bayern. His current contract will automatically be extended until 2029 on his 18th birthday, on 22 February 2026 as revealed. At present, he is estimated
to earn around €2m gross/year.
Bayern have a strong interest in extending the contract until 2030 or 2031 with a possible salary between €5–8m. Also to maintain calm within the club. However, there are still no concrete negotiations between Bayern and the player’s camp.
Interestingly, Bayern Munich is also keen on inking Karl’s brother, Vincent, to a youth deal as well. The Bavarians are clearly ready to go all-in on the Karl family.
