For the 73rd time, the North Carolina Tar Heels will compete for an ACC Championship.
Carolina opens ACC play tonight against Florida State. The Tar Heels are 58-14 in ACC openers and 64-8 in ACC home openers.
This is the second time in three years that the Heels face the Seminoles in the ACC opener. And recent matchups have not been great for Florida State.
UNC has won six in a row against FSU, and has a 57-16 all-time record against the Seminoles. Carolina is 24-4 against Florida State in Chapel Hill,
with 21 of the wins happening in the Smith Center. The Tar Heels are on an eight-game home winning streak versus the Seminoles.
