The college basketball transfer portal period officially opens on April 7th, but Missouri has already seen roster movement with Trent Pierce set to return next season, and Anthony Robinson II entering the transfer portal.
Expect Mizzou to be busy this offseason in the transfer portal
as Dennis Gates and the staff look to build this roster with one of the top recruiting classes coming in.
Missouri is going to have to replace a lot from this season’s roster — as Shawn Phillips Jr., Mark Mitchell, Jayden Stone, Jacob Crews and perhaps Jevon Porter are all out of eligibility. Needless to say, it’s going to be a new-look team next season.
With an important offseason ahead, Mizzou will need a big transfer portal haul. With Anthony Robinson II transferring, we should expect T.O. Barrett to return — but is that enough to rely on at the point guard position? Do the Tigers need a major upgrade at the center position? Replacing Mark Mitchell’s production is going to be extremely tough, so what does Mizzou do at the forward spot?
In our latest SBN Reacts survey, we ask you this: What is Mizzou Basketball’s biggest need in the transfer portal?
