Taron Johnson from Buffalo Bills, who were going to release Johnson. The Bills got a sixth-round pick and the Raiders got a seventh rounder.
Claimed on waivers:
Darrell Luter (San Francisco 49ers). He was claimed by fie
teams Monday, the most of any player in the league that day.
Released:
Greedy Vance, Decamerion Richardson
Draft:
Tennessee’s Jermod McCoy in fourth round (No. 101), California’s Hezekiah Masses in fifth round (No. 175).

Stokes, Darian Porter,

Stokes, Porter, Johnson, McCoy, Masses and Luter.
Conclusion:
Luter is the newcomer, but he will likely be more of a special teamer to start with a chance to work into the rotation. Stokes and Porter were the outside starters in the preseason with Johnson playing nickel. McCoy and Masses both got some first-team reps during training camp and in the preseason, but were second teamers to end the preseason. McCoy will definitely get some early playing time with Masses getting his chances as well. Porter must play well to maintain his starting job. Most, if not all of these players, should get plenty of playing time as it appears Las Vegas’ depth at the position has improved.
