Are the Cleveland Browns about to have a reunion? According to ESPN’s Mike Garafolo, defensive end Jadeveon Clowney
is visiting the Browns today:Clowney played two seasons with the Browns from 2021 to 2022. Following the 2022 season, though, he made
it known that he likely would not be back to Cleveland, and that he was frustrated with the team trying to create more favorable matchups for Myles Garrett, at his expense, compared to what they had practiced or gameplanned for. Clowney later apologized to Garrett for the comments.
As Clowney prepares to enter his 13th year in the league, he proved to still be a valuable rotational piece last year with the Cowboys, where he registered 8.5 sacks. A few days ago, DBN’s Thomas Moore talked about how Cleveland was still looking for help at defensive end, and cited Clowney as one of the options to consider. The potential signing comes as fans cast their vote on how they view the team’s current depth on the defensive line.
We’ll keep you posted if the Browns make a move to sign Clowney soon.
