The fourth weekend of the 2026 NFL season is here!
Let’s run through a Philadelphia Eagles-focused rooting guide for all of the Week 4 games.
EAGLES GAME
LOS ANGELES RAMS at PHILADELPHIA EAGLES: Beating the Rams would be a big deal. Not only because it prevents the Eagles from dropping to 2-2 … but also because it gives Philly a value head-to-head tiebreaker over LA. Putting the Rams in a 1-3 hole also sounds nice. The Eagles will have to pull off an upset to make it happen. Go Birds.
NFC EAST
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS at WASHINGTON
COMMANDERS: The Commanders are 1-2 after Marcus Mariota guided them to an upset win over the other Washington football team last week. Don’t want to see this team build any momentum before Jayden Daniels returns from injury. Root for the Colts.
ARIZONA CARDINALS at NEW YORK GIANTS: The Giants are 2-1. If they win this game, they’ll be 3-1 with some more winnable games coming up. Better to see them not building belief in thesmselves that they can win games without Jaxson Dart. Root for the Cardinals.
DALLAS COWBOYS at HOUSTON TEXANS: The Cowboys are the biggest threat to the Eagles threepeating as division champs. Root for the Texans.
If the Eagles win and all of their division rivals lose, the NFC East standings will look like this:
1) Eagles: 3-1
2) Giants: 2-2
3) Cowboys: 1-3
4) Commanders: 1-3
NFC PLAYOFF PICTURE
NEW YORK JETS at CHICAGO BEARS: Ben Johnson seems to be Vic Fangio’s kryptonite. The Eagles don’t want to see the Bears in the playoffs. Root for the Jets.
GREEN BAY PACKERS at TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS: Neither team is very imposing but the Packers have the better record (1-2 vs. 0-3). Might as well root for the Packers to lose so that they don’t catch up to the Eagles. Root for the Buccaneers.
MIAMI DOLPHINS at MINNESOTA VIKINGS: AFC team over NFC team, especially with the NFC team being undefeated and ahead of the Eagles in the NFC playoff picture. Root for the Dolphins.
DENVER BRONCOS at SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS: The Niners are looking like a problem. Root for the Broncos.
LOS ANGELES CHARGERS at SEATTLE SEAHAWKS: AFC team over NFC team. Root for the Chargers.
DETROIT LIONS at CAROLINA PANTHERS: The Lions are the bigger threat in the NFC. Root for the Panthers.
ATLANTA FALCONS at NEW ORLEANS SAINTS: The Saints have shown the higher ceiling thus far. They might be the bigger threat. Root for the Falcons.

WHAT’S LEFT
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS at BUFFALO BILLS: The Eagles own the more favorable of two 2027 fifth-round picks either from the Pats or Bears. Might as well root against New England. Root for the Bills.
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS at CINCINNATI BENGALS: The Eagles play the Jags next weekend. With the hope that the Eagles will beat them, you want the Jags to have as good of a record as possible to help boost Philly’s strength of victory tiebreaker. Root for the Jaguars.
TENNESSEE TITANS at BALTIMORE RAVENS: The Eagles beat the Titans in Week 2. Philly’s strength of victory tiebreaker will improve the more that the Titans win. Root for the Titans.
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS at LAS VEGAS RAIDERS: No Eagles impact but it’s more fun to root for Nakobe Dean’s Raiders in this matchup.
