For Cleveland Browns fans, RB Nick Chubb will always be considered among the best and favorite players since the team’s return. Recently retired, Chubb’s on-field resume may not match up with Hall of Famer Joe Thomas or DE Myles Garrett, especially with his single-season sack record, but the way he played, the hard work he put in, and the character (including “Batman”

) have a special place in our hearts.

Earlier this offseason, a short video was put out that gave Browns fans hope that he could return

for one more season with the team. Instead, Chubb decided to walk away after one year with the Houston Texans.

In a recent video, Chubb indicates that he believes he should not have returned for the 2024 season. In that year, Chubb returned after missing the first six games of the season and had his lowest yards per attempt year of his career (3.3), by far, on his 102 carries.

While Chubb isn’t making excuses, it seems obvious he believes that decision impacted the end of his career:

Chubb’s career totals are 100 games played with 87 starts, 1,462 attempts for 7,349 rushing yards, 340 first-down conversions, 54 rushing touchdowns, plus 141 receptions for 1,109 receiving yards and five additional scores.
