Mikel Oyarzabal seems to have effectively shut the door on a potential move to Barcelona for good after making it clear it is possible to turn the Catalans down.
Barcelona have been linked with Oyarzabal this summer but the Real Sociedad star has made it repeatedly clear he is happy where he is and is not thinking about a transfer.
That hasn’t spotted journalists continuing to ask the Barcelona question, with Oyarzabal’s latest response suggesting he’s had enough of the speculation about a potential
Camp Nou transfer.
“Can you say no to Barcelona? Yes, you can. Of course you can. There are players who have told them no,“ he told El Chiringuito.
“I’m immensely happy in San Sebastian, I consider Real Sociedad my home, it’s a place where I can live the life I want with my family. I’ve always said that I’m where I want to be.”
Julian Alvarez remains Barcelona’s top choice even though Atletico don’t want to sell. Eli Junior Kroupi has been mentioned as a potential alternative, although he has also been linked with several other clubs this summer.
