We have football again! The 2026 season for the Denver Broncos officially kicks off tonight on the road against the Atlanta Falcons for each teams first preseason game.
Game preview
Head coach Sean Payton noted that starters would see 10-15 plays in this first preseason game, but that will not include quarterback Bo Nix. We’ll have to wait until next week to see his first game action since fracturing his ankle in the playoff win over the Buffalo Bills back in January.
There will be plenty of position battles and
this first game tends to be fairly important for rookies who want to push for playing time in year one.
