What is the story about?
Good morning, Fear the Wall.
Second place is looking good for BVB after a 2-0 victory in Stuttgart this past Saturday. It was a match with few chances, but when BVB had the good ones, they did not fool around like you might expect. Niko Kovac was pleased with his side’s reaction, but noted they had a bit of luck. The fireworks at the end of the match also included some controversial moments and a few warnings from the referee. Read on for more on that.
BVB News
- Deniz Undav was none too impressed with BVB’s performance, especially the antics of Karim Adeyemi. Apparently, Adeyemi poked at a celebration Undav used against BVB in the reverse fixture. Seems only fair!
- Speaking for Adeyemi, he took a chance to leave his future at BVB very open, saying he “feels comfortable everywhere”.
- Schlotterbeck talked about his contract more. I swear I’m so over this so that’s all I’m going to say.
- Serhou Guirassy reportedly plans to leave BVB this summer. Not a huge shock, I’d say.
League News
- Mitchell Weiser levied some hefty criticism at his employer, Werder Bremen, in an interview this weekend.
- Hoffenheim’s Fisnik Asllani continues to court suitors with his good form.
- Bayern were almost cool enough to drop points but then they didn’t. Those guys suck.
Were Stuttgart right to be angry at the final
whistle? Does Adeyemi’s reaction show commitment to the club or just that he is a pot stirrer? Let us know in the comments.
