Real latest club to show interest in Goretzka (Fichajes)
Real Madrid could be the latest club looking at Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka and per this report, the Germany international could be a target for January:
Leon Goretzka is once again at the center of the European transfer market. The German midfielder is not having his best time at Bayern Munich , has lost his starting role, and everything points to his time in the Bundesliga coming to an end.
Real Madrid are closely monitoring the situation. At Valdebebas, they believe Goretzka’s profile
fits the current needs of the midfield, both in terms of his physique and his experience at the highest level.
Real Madrid ‘s interest in Leon Goretzka stems from a specific need. The team’s midfield has lost physical presence in certain competitive situations, especially in high-pressure matches.
Goretzka brings power, runs from midfield, and the ability to maintain a high tempo. The club values his experience in big European matches and his competitive spirit. Furthermore, the signing would fit perfectly within Real Madrid’s transfer strategy: acquiring proven talent without a significant transfer fee.
Relations between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are excellent. This facilitates a possible agreement even before the player’s contract expires. The talk in the offices is of a figure close to eight or ten million euros to finalize the transfer in January. A manageable amount to avoid Leon Goretzka leaving for free in the summer. For Bayern, it would be a way to bring in some money and free up salary space. For Real Madrid, a very well-calculated market opportunity.
It would be hard to believe two things here:
- Bayern Munich would sell Goretzka next month.
- Real Madrid would invest in Goretzka now when it can just get him for free in a few months.
Unless Xabi Alonso thinks Goretzka can cure what ails Real Madrid this season (and convince his bosses to buck up), it does not seem likely this one will happen.
Milan getting serious with Vlahović? (Nicolò Schira)
Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović could make the move to Serie A foe AC Milan after the season:
ACMilan are still among the clubs, which are interested in signing Dusan #Vlahovic as a free agent from July. His agent Darko Ristic has met Igli Tare last week to discuss about this possibility and to know #Milan’s Future Plans. #transfers
Milan is seeking to bridge the gap for this season with West Ham loanee Niclas Fullkrug, but its long-term target could be Vlahović.
Bayern still interested in Barcola (Ekrem Konur)
Bayern Munich could still have interest in Paris Saint-Germain attacker Bradley Barcola:
🚨🆕 #PSG 🇫🇷
Bayern Munich, Liverpool & Man United admire Bradley Barcola!👉 PSG unwilling to weaken squad mid-season.
👉 French winger firmly on Europe’s radar.
👉 Transfer race on hold for now.
Because Barcola is just 23-years-old, it is conceivable that Bayern Munich would still have serious interest in him, but it is harder to believe that the Bavarians would be willing to invest what would be needed to get him as early as next summer. This feels more like a move that could be made two-to-three years down the road.
