Following his 30-carry, 146-yard, 2-touchdown performance against the New York Jets, Chicago Bears running back Kyle Monangai was the Week 4 winner of the vaunted Angry Runs Scepter.
If you’re unfamiliar with Angry Runs, it’s the brainchild of Good Morning Football’s Kyle Brandt, who picks one player each week for physically running the ball while punishing and pummeling through the defense.
Monangai (5’8”, 207) was honored with the award twice as a rookie, and now, as a three-time winner, he’s halfway
to the all-time Angry Runs leader, King Derrick Henry (6’3”, 252), who has 6.
So far this season, Monangai is seventh in yards after contact with 153 and fifth in average yards after contact with 2.55.
