After last week’s fan confidence in the direction of the team had dipped to 21%, after the Browns’ win over the Buccaneers, fan confidence increased by 39 percentage points up to 60%. That’s a new season high. Panthers fans are not lacking confidence either, as 90% of fans are confident in the direction of their team. Having QB Bryce Young looking good no doubt contributes to that high percentage, since both teams are 1-1.

about this week’s game, though? We asked one question, and it focused on what Browns fans expect the outcome of this Sunday’s game against the Panthers will be.
Overall, 57% of Browns fans think the Browns will win, with most of those fans projecting a close win. 25% of fans think the Panthers will edge out a victory, while 18% of fans think last week’s game by the Browns was a mirage and that Carolina will dominate their way to victory.
We’ll see how things pan out. If QB Deshaun Watson had played poorly against the Buccaneers and Cleveland had dropped to 0-2, you can believe that the pitchforks would be out if he was starting under those circumstances. In that case, people thought QB Shedeur Sanders would have to start. But the script has changed, for at least a week. Because after that performance by Watson, there’s no defendable reason to now bench him.
According to FanDuel, the Browns are 2.5 point underdogs against the Panthers this week, with the over/under being 41.5.
