And just like that, fans think the Rams are headed in the right direction. One week after fan confidence dipped to 40% of Rams supporters believing the team was headed in the right direction, the confidence polls are back up to 73% after a win over the Eagles.
What a difference a close win over a bad team can make in one week. If the Rams beat the Bills on Monday, we should expect confidence to climb back over 90% again, as it was prior to Week 1.
If you expect the Rams to keep stacking wins, you know
you can check out FanDuel’s odds to support the team in Las Vegas. L.A. is 3.5-point favorites over Buffalo this week.
Do you agree with those odds?
Who is the first coach fired?
SB Nation did another round of surveys, and we’ll start with the expectation among voters that Todd Bowles is the most likely head coach to be fired before the end of the 2026 season with 47% of fans surveyed saying Bowles will be the first go.
DeMeco Ryans, Jim Harbaugh, Aaron Glenn, Matt LaFleur and Nick Sirianni also received some votes, but not as many as Bowles.
Frankly, Bowles may have been fired as early as October 9th, 2026, but sports is magical in the way that people get the chance to prove themselves right and others wrong. In Week 5 of the NFL season on Thursday Night Football, Bowles and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers proved themselves right, and everyone who bet on the Dallas Cowboys wrong.
Bowles still has his job at the time of this writing.
Even still, the expectation is that Bowles will not make it through the 2026 season, and that seems reasonable as the Buccaneers sit at 1-4. However, each week Bowles is still the coach is another week he can prove everyone wrong, prove the team right for sticking with him and keep his job.
For the Bucs and Bowles, their situation will continued to be watched, and if you think you want to make a wager on which coach will go and or which coach can get their team right, check out FanDuel!
The Cleveland Browns, despite a 3-1 start, are still expected to Browns
“The Browns is the Browns” may be an insult to the franchise, or Todd Monken may be using it as a battle cryto inspire his team to win, and make anyone who doubts them look foolish.
Either way, fans surveyed expect the Browns to finish with a worst record than the New York Giants, the Minnesota Vikings, and the Las Vegas Raiders with 46% of fans voting for the Browns to falter.
You can bet on the Browns however you want at FanDuel. They could win, they could lose. Will DeShaun Watson continue to lead them? They’re fascinating so far this season.
The Browns have started 2026 stronger than expected when they traded Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams. While the Rams have yet to truly benefit from adding Garrett to the team.
Could the Browns end up with a better record than the Rams by the end of 2026? Going into Week 5, the Browns do have the better record.
