Alice Pereira is only 20 years old yet still turned in a Knockout of the Year candidate earlier tonight (Sat., April 4, 2026) at UFC Vegas 115 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, stopping fellow women’s bantamweight prospect Hailey Cowan with a devastating second-round knockout (knee).
Despite being younger and a decent betting favorite heading into Saturday’s “Prelims” affair, Pereira was not in control in the early going. Cowan was actually the one who scored the more
memorable moments, including a massive takedown in the center of the Octagon that nearly shook the Meta Apex.
Pereira, who is NOT related to former UFC champion Alex Pereira, kept her composure along the way. This allowed her to continue to focus on her own offense and find a home for a perfectly-timed left knee in the second round. It landed flush to Cowan’s head and sent her crashing backwards onto the canvas. “Golden Girl” followed her efforts up with some quick ground-and-pound before the referee peeled her off, but the extra shots weren’t needed. The knee did it all.
Check out the video highlights below and let us know where Pereira’s knockout ranks among 2026’s best!
