Late August, early September. The Phillies are headed out west to have three series in which they are playing teams that have given them trouble in the past. First, to Seattle to face the Mariners, then down the Pacific coastline to see the Los Angeles Angels, followed by their own house of horrors in Phoenix against the Diamondbacks.
Of these three, which one worries you the most? The obvious answer is Arizona since they have rarely played well there, but they are coming off a big time high, traveling
across the country and play a game in Seattle this evening. It screams of a letdown series even if the Mariners have been disappointing this year. Maybe it’s the one we’re all overlooking in Anaheim.
If they can get through this going at least winning four of the nine, I’ll be happy.
