The Cardinals are set to start rookie offensive tackle Jayden Williams this week following Paris Johnson Jr.’s season-ending surgery. The 6’4, 307-pound Williams surprised many by being named the backup at left tackle prior to the season due to him being just a seventh-round pick out of Ole Miss, but obviously there’s something the coaching staff saw in him that led to that decision.
Against the Lions this week, Williams is likely to get a healthy dose of Aidan Hutchison, Detroit’s best pas rusher.
Knowing that fact, how confident are you in Williams now that he’s the starter at left tackle for the remainder of the season? Do you trust Mike LaFleur to scheme up enough help for him on the edge?
