With SEC basketball play set to tipoff in less than three weeks, game times have been updated for several conference games, including two Kentucky basketball games.
- Saturday, January 3rd at Alabama | Noon ET on ESPN
- Wednesday, February 4th vs. Oklahoma | 9:00 PM ET on ESPN2
Both changes are less than three hours’ difference from their original times, so nothing too significant, but are more inconvenient for those planning on attending.
The Alabama game, formerly set to tipoff as 1:00 PM EST in Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, has now moved up an hour to 12:00 PM EST, 11:00 AM local time. The Crimson Tide are
ranked 12th as of this article, with a 7-2 record, including wins over St. John’s and Illinois, looking to be contenders in the SEC yet again under Nate Oats.
The Oklahoma game has been pushed back two hours to 9:00 PM EST at Rupp Arena, making it the only 9:00 PM tipoff on the schedule. The Sooners are unranked with a 6-3 record and were picked to finish 12th in the SEC. Their best win to this point was an 86-68 win over Wake Forest, which is ranked 46th in KenPom.
