Plate umpire Quinn Walcott gave Horton a few extra inches and Horton took advantage of that veteran zone to throw strike after strike, with all of his pitches working.
Michael Busch added some insurance [VIDEO].
King Tuck said goodbye to another baseball [VIDEO].
There was more [VIDEO], [VIDEO]. Ben Brown came on in relief after Horton went six full (7 K, 1 BB, 3 hits) and threw Jo Adell a fat pitch, but his job was to throw strikes, and he certainly did. 12-1 isn’t so bad, and the meatloaf is ready to serve.
