Happy Good Friday to those who celebrate and Chag Semeach / eid Ju’meah to those who also celebrate, and happy Friday to everyone else!
This is another late Hoddle, but that’s because I went to bed early and woke up late. I’m in the throes of chemo recovery right now and choose to prioritize my health over, well, most other things. I finally got a good 8 hours of sleep with the help of high dose melatonin and a CPAP. (But that’s a discussion for another Hoddle).
Anyway, we’re still stuck in that weird
interregnum period where we have another week before we play a game. The FA Cup is this weekend, and Premier League resumes the weekend after that. Since Spurs already out of the FA Cup, it gives (long resigned sigh) our new head coach a couple weeks to work with his new players and hopefully inject enough vibes for the club to, IDK, win a couple of games upcoming. Starting with away at Sunderland next weekend.
RDZ has already said that he doesn’t want to talk about tactics, but to motivate the players here in the last few games of the season. That suggests that what we’re going to see next season under RDZ is unlikely to be very similar to what we’re going to get in the short term. There’s an article in that, maybe. We’ll see.
