Barcelona president Joan Laporta has offered an update on new signings Marcus Rashford and Joan Garcia ahead of tomorrow’s La Liga opener against Real Mallorca.
The club have been working hard to register both players in time for the game and Laporta has now claimed the duo are available for selection.
“If Flick wants, Joan Garcia and Rashford can play tomorrow,“ he said via Mundo Deportivo.
The report adds that the documentation has been completed by the club and is now just waiting the green light
from La Liga.
Laporta’s update comes after a busy couple of days for the club. Barca have already confirmed that Joan Garcia will be registered after La Liga ruled Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s injury was long term.
Barcelona have since received an €11 million windfall from Sporting for Francisco Trincao and extended Jules Kounde’s contract, two moves which have also helped the club financially.
