The West Coast Conference season opener for coach Lisa Fortier’s Zags (8-5 overall record) begins with the Loyola Marymount Lions (6-5 overall record) inside the Kennel. Gonzaga hopes to cut down the turnovers
that caused so many problems for themselves during the non-conference. The Zags made those costly mistakes 19.1 times per game (286th-most in the NCAA).
Gonzaga is 3-3 at the McCarthey Athletic Center in 2025-26 so far.
