Man, I cannot leave town for one day. News is always on.
Our beloved Tony Parker, the original French Phenom, told French sport newspaper L’Equipe his next goal is to coach.
The Spurs legend eighteen seasons in the NBA, seventeen with San Antonio before heading to Charlotte before retiring. Parker won four titles with the Spurs, taking Finals MVP in 2007. His #9 was retired by
the Spurs.
His #9 is also retired by France, where garnered multiple accolades through FIBA. LBN awards, and EuroBasket medals as well as recognition through Euroscar and L’Equipe Champion of Champions.
As president of ASVEL, he’s seen four LBN Pro A Championships, two French Cups, and a French Super Cup.
What more could one want? With Parker’s sights set on coaching, fans could see him on the sidelines in the near future. His basketball IQ alone should garner some attention.
