The Chicago Bears host the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. The Bears will be without star quarterback Caleb Williams, who appeared to have suffered a life-threatening injury based on the way he reacted, but should only be out in the short term.
The San Francisco 49ers face the Philadelphia Eagles in January. It would not be surprising to see the Niners meet with the Bears later on in January, either.
The Eagles have been a league-average offense to date. Can a defense that struggles as
much as the Bears have limit their output? The weather looks fine in Chicago. DeVonta Smith not practicing with a hamstring injury should help Chicago.
No Williams, or his backup, means Case Keenum will throw a pass for the first time in over a year. Luckily for him, Ben Johnson has set up a fantastic infrastructure for Keenum to succeed.
The Eagles’ shaky run defense is flying under the radar to start the season. I think D’Andre Swift runs wild, and Kyle Monangai follows suit en route to a Bears home upset.
