Eli Drinkwitz continues to add impact pieces from the transfer portal. This morning it was announced on twitter by multiple sources that Miami transfer Linebacker / Edge rusher Malik Bryant had signed
with Missouri. 247sports.com’s Matt Zenitz was the first to report.
Bryant has two seasons of eligibility remaining after taking a redshirt this season while playing in four games. An Orlando, Florida native, Bryant flashed impact potential as a true sophomore when he appeared in 12 games and recording five tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
At 6’4 240 pounds, Bryant is the hybrid pass rusher Missouri defensive coordinator Corey Batoon has covetted and put to use each of the last few years. And with a lot of turnover on the defensive line, the depth is greatly needed.
Bryant was a top 200 overall recruit and a 4-star out of high school.
Graves becomes the 26th overall transfer portal addition for Mizzou this offseason and joins the defensive end room with transfers Jaden Jones from Florida State, and CJ May of Louisville.
