The Pittsburgh Steelers are hitting the ground running after introducing Mike McCarthy as the team’s new head coach. After hiring Adam Henry as the new wide receivers coach, the Steelers are “close” to finalizing a deal with Patrick Graham to be the new defensive coordinator, per Gerry Dulac.
“New Steelers coach Mike McCarthy is close to bringing in Patrick Graham as his defensive coordinator, per sources,” Dulac reports. “Graham, 47, was defensive coordinator the past three seasons with the Raiders.
He also served in that role with the Dolphins (2019) and Giants (2020-21).”
Credit should also be given to Derrick Bell of Steelers Now, who reported that the Steelers would be hiring Graham early Tuesday morning.
