Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Bills fans and fans across the country.
You know what time it is, Rumblers. It’s our weekly roundtable with a poll asking whether or not you’re confident the Buffalo Bills are headed in the right direction.
These polls are subject to massive swings in fandom, which for sure plays a part in their success. The Bills lost their first game of the 2026 NFL season, and barely anyone should
be pleased with the overall product they sold fans on the field.
Losing a home game to the New England Patriots is no easy pill to swallow, unforgivable when you consider recent trends. But it is just one game — yes, one very important AFC East game that now saddles them with a detrimental ding in the division.
Quarterback Josh Allen has looked off the last two games, tight end Dalton Kincaid was only part of 13 designed route plays, and head coach Joe Brady couldn’t get anything going for running back James Cook III until far too late in Week 3. There’s of course the troubles on defense, and also a fair amount of concern with injuries. What’s happening with wide receiver DJ Moore, defensive tackle Ed Oliver, and what seems like a countless number of defensive backs who are now hurt or out with injury?
Next up are the Los Angeles Rams and a primetime game out in California for Week 5 of Monday Night Football. Will the Bills defeat the Rams and quiet any talk of trouble? Does the Bills’ loss, and falling to 3-1, have you feeling confident or something far different about the direction of the team?
