It’s a busy Saturday afternoon of Orange sports. First up, men’s lacrosse is at Homewood Field to take on Johns Hopkins. Face-off is 1:00 with the game streaming on Watch ESPN.
Hopefully the Orange are pairing these helmets with old school uniforms for this rivalry game.
Then it’s Senior Day at the Dome as Syracuse men’s basketball (15-15,
6-11) will welcome the Pitt Panthers (11-19, 4-13) to the JMA Dome. The Orange will recognize JJ Starling, William Kyle, Nate Kingz, and Bryce Zephir on their final appearance in the Dome. Game tips at 4:30 on The CW.
We’d be naive if we didn’t say that it’s likely the final home game for Adrian Autry in his role as Head Coach. It’s unfortunate that the Orange haven’t been able to accomplish a NCAA Tournament appearance in his tenure, but I think we all know it’s time for new leadership.
Syracuse will be without Kiyan Anthony and Sadiq White is questionable so the seniors might get more minutes than normal tonight.
