With the preseason wrapped up, the NFL’s 2025 regular season is just over a week away from getting started. The league fires up its regular season with the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Dallas Cowboys next Thursday, while the Green Bay Packers host the Detroit Lions the following Sunday to get the NFC North underway. Three of those four mentioned teams above are near the top of the list of contenders for Super Bowl LX, which will be played on February 8, 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
With the regular season about to begin, season-long prop and futures bets are a primary focus over the next few days, and not just for bettors. It’s a good opportunity for fans of all kinds to gauge the preseason expectations for their teams and their favorite players, and those expectations are reasonably high for the Packers this season.
Here is a look at the current odds involving the Packers as of Monday, August 25th, as provided by FanDuel sportsbook.
Super Bowl odds
Packers to win Super Bowl LX: +1900
Only five teams have shorter odds than the Packers’ 19:1 odds to win this year’s Super Bowl at this point. That group includes a pair of NFC teams in the Eagles (+700) and Lions (+1100) and three from the AFC: Baltimore (+650), Buffalo (+750), and Kansas City (+1100).
There’s a big gap between that group of five teams and the next set, however. The 49ers join the Packers at +1900, while another two teams are at +2000 and three more sit at +2200.
If you really want to get crazy and bet on the Packers to play in the Super Bowl against a specific opponent, those odds are available as well. As one would imagine from the odds listed above, the top three possibilities for the Packers to face are the Ravens (+4000), Bills (+4000), and Chiefs (+4500).
Make/miss playoffs
Packers to make playoffs: -128
Packers to miss playoffs: +104
The odds clearly favor the Packers to be in the postseason one way or another in 2025. If they do so, it would be their third straight playoff appearance, with the team making it as a Wild Card each of the last two years. There are intriguing odds on the Packers to do more than that, however.
To win NFC North
Packers to win the NFC North: +240
The Lions are the best bet to win the division this season at +160, but the Packers sit in a decent second place at +240 with Minnesota back at +300. This one could be intriguing for Green Bay, particularly with the Lions losing significant depth on the offensive line as well as both coordinators.
Win total
Packers win total: 9.5 (over -110, under -110)
We dove deeper into this line last week, and the odds remain the same as they were last Thursday. The Packers won 11 games last season and 9 the year before; what will Matt LaFleur’s team do in the third year of the Jordan Love era?
Player milestones
Speaking of Love, he has a few notable player props available heading into the season. For example, Love is getting +210 odds to throw for at least 4,000 yards in 2025. He eclipsed that with 4,159 yards in 2023, but fell short with just 3,389 yards last season, due at least in part to missing two games and parts of a few others with injuries. If Love stays healthy, however, a 4,000-yard season feels entirely doable. You could even go bigger if you think the Packers’ passing game will be prolific, with Love getting +700 odds to throw for 4,500 yards.
Love’s touchdown totals have been solid in his career too, and he threw 32 in 2023 before slipping to 25 last year. You can get +170 odds on him hitting on 30 this season.
Feel like going after a big-time receiver? There are pretty long odds on a Packer to rack up over 1,000 receiving yards — Jayden Reed (+340) and Tucker Kraft (+450) are both on the board there.
Josh Jacobs, meanwhile, feels like a sure bet to hit the 1,000-yard rushing mark if he is healthy all season. He put up over 1,300 a year ago and is going off at -180 to hit 1,000. Feeling good about a repeat 2025? You can get +190 odds on him to get to 1,250, and if you want to go big, the odds of him hitting 1,500 yards are +550. Jacobs also ran for 15 touchdowns a year ago; and he’s getting +470 odds to reach that mark once again.
