
The Penguins on Tuesday unveiled their 2025-26 promotional schedule, detailing all the giveaways and theme nights fans can expect at PPG Paints Arena this season.
Some classic events and festivities will return, while fans can also expect a sprinkling of some new, unique offerings.
Over 40 promotional games will take place, including the “Big Three Legacy” bobblehead series celebrating Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang’s 20 seasons in Pittsburgh.
Crosby’s bobblehead will be given away during
the team’s game against the San Jose Sharks on Saturday, Dec. 13. Malkin’s bobblehead will be handed out during the home game against the Calgary Flames on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026. Letang’s figurine will be given out during the team’s game against the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday, March 21. 2026.
Completing the bobblehead set will give Penguins fans a larger, interlocking memorabilia piece.
Other notable giveaways include the annual team calendar on Oct. 11; a Penguins scarf on Nov. 22; a Zamboni gravy boat, just in time for American Thanksgiving on Nov. 26; and a Hawaiian shirt on March 5.
The team will also host two celebrations: its inaugural Hall of Fame Game on Oct. 25 against the Columbus Blue Jackets, celebrating and inducting the 2025 Penguins Hall of Fame class, and a Jan. 31 ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of the 2016 Stanley Cup championship team. All fans attending the Jan. 31 game will receive a replica championship ring.
Theme nights include Pucks and Paws Night on Oct. 27 against the St. Louis Blues; Star Wars Night on Dec. 11 against the Montreal Canadiens; Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood Day on March 1 against the Vegas Golden Knights; and Peanuts Day on April 5 against the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers, among others. These theme nights include specialty ticket packages with themed items.

Community events include the Military Appreciation Game on Nov. 9 against the Los Angeles Kings; Hockey Fights Cancer Night with a beanie giveaway on Nov. 21 against the Minnesota Wild; the Pride Game on Dec. 9 against the Anaheim Ducks; and the Black History Game on Feb. 2 against the Ottawa Senators.
