With roster cutdowns around the corner, it’s time for the Green Bay Packers’ preseason finale, the last chance roster bubble players will have to sway the coaching staff’s opinion of them.
As expected, starting quarterback Jordan Love, who is recovering from thumb surgery, is not going to be suiting up for today’s game against the Seattle Seahawks. According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, though, Josh Jacobs and company are in uniform, a strong sign that the Packers’ starters will get action.
In pre-game
warmups, Sports Illustrated’s Bill Huber reported that Green Bay’s first-team offensive line in warmups was Rasheed Walker, Jordan Morgan, Sean Rhyan, Donovan Jennings and Zach Tom. Left guard Aaron Banks has been dealing with an injury in practice, but center Elgton Jenkins played against the Seahawks in joint practice on Thursday. Hopefully, whatever injury he’s dealing with is not serious.
Stay tuned for updates on the game, as I’ll be popping in the comments to drop new information.
