Hansi Flick has been enjoying life at Barcelona
since taking charge of the team and has already collected four trophies so far.The German coach also has his team playing exciting, attacking football, with
players such as Pedri, Lamine Yamal, and Raphinha all playing starring roles.
Flick has now spoken about his team, as part of an upcoming documentary about Johan Cruyff, and says he’s trying to make the legendary Dutchman proud.
“What can I say? I’m very proud to be part of Barça and I’m doing my best to make Johan, from above, feel proud of everything we do,” he said.
Pedri also features in the documentary and shares his thoughts on what Cruyff means to him.
“He is the inventor of today’s football, of everything we want Barça to be: that way of playing, of having fun on the pitch,” he added.
“He is the most important person at Barça in terms of ideology and how he changed football at this club.”
Barcelona will hopefully have more fun on the pitch on Thursday night when they take on Atletico in the Copa del Rey.
