Real Madrid seems like it is burning at the moment.
The LaLiga powerhouse had a wild ride from the opening whistle against Bayern Munich. In a game that was defined by wild swings of emotions, Real Madrid ultimately lost 4-3 (6-4 on aggregate) to the Bavarians in the Champions League and aside of all of the postgame histrionics with the referees, the Real Madrid players were having issues on the pitch with each other.
In particular, Vinícius Júnior and Jude Bellingham reportedly had a verbal altercation
on the pitch over Bellingham complaining about Vinícius Júnior missing him with a pass:
During the game, Jude Bellingham got upset because Vini didn’t pass him the ball.
Vini then said to Bellingham, “What do you want? What do you want? Shut up.”
Apparently, the “power of friendship” was absent among these two as it was pretty bad timing for divisive behavior at the worst possible time.
In the end, the team that won was ultimately the one that stuck together through the adversity.
