The Las Vegas Raiders best defense this decade was in 2023. Led by Antoino Pierce and Patrick Graham, the Raiders finished 9th in points allowed, and one of the players who helped was cornerback Jack Jones.
However, it fell apart the next season, and Jones was let go by the Raiders heading into 2025. He spent last season in Miami, starting all 17 games for the Dolphins and playing 980 defensive snaps. He totaled 77 tackles, an interception, six pass breakups, and two forced fumbles. After hitting
the free agent market again, Jones has agreed to terms with the San Francisco 49ers after his visit to San Francisco today, according to multiple reports.
Over four NFL seasons, Jones has appeared in 59 games (38 starts), totaling 213 tackles, 33 passes defensed, and eight interceptions. He has also scored four defensive touchdowns and forced three fumbles. While his time with the Raiders is appreciated, he has a chance to rekindle his career with the 49ers.
