According to a report from Sport Bild’s Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich has a timeline for wanting to get a new deal done with star winger Michael Olise.
Bayern Munich is watching the incredible season that the Frenchman is having and is desperately seeking to find ways to keep him around even longer than this current contract. As it turns out, Bayern Munich will reportedly make a push to ink a new deal with Olise before the World Cup:
Bayern would like to extend Michael Olise’s contract beyond 2029 – before the World Cup if possible.
Olise is still just 24-years-old and his current deal expires in 2029, Per Capology, Olise currently makes €13,510,000 in salary and €3,380,000 in bonuses with his current contract. It is safe to assume that Olise’s salary would skyrocket up to over €20,000,000, with a bonus structure involved as well.
The timing of this is key as well. If Olise has a big World Cup, his value will be driven up even higher.
If you were Olise’s advisor, would you tell him to take a new big deal with Bayern Munich before the World Cup or gamble and try to get even more with strong showing during the World Cup?
