Bayern Munich is properly stacked in the attacking department ahead of the 2026/27 season, but the window won’t be closing until the end of August. The Bavarians sent scouts to Denmark to watch Darío Osorio, the Chilean winger who plays for FC Midtjylland, and they have Manchester City’s scouts for company:
BFW Analysis
Osorio is 22 years old and is a left-footed right-winger. Although Bayern could conceivably buy Osorio before Deadline Day or in the January transfer window, Bayern already employs several players with Osorio’s profile (left-footed right-winger): Michael Olise, who is the surefire starter; Lennart Karl, who was the breakout star last season; and Tim Binder, who came from Bayern’s academy.
What Bayern needs is a winger that can cover for Luis Díaz because the Colombian doesn’t have a good enough understudy that can help manage his minutes. No one that currently plays for Bayern does it well enough to be a proper Díaz backup.
