Bayern considers Olise to be ‘untouchable’ (Marca’s Matteo Moretto)
Friday was a wild day with rumors emerging from several credible sources that Real Madrid is about to launch a 150 million bid for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise. However, there is major doubt about whether or not Bayern Munich would sell the Frenchman.
Most do not think it is an option:
Bayern will not entertain bids for Michael Olise, not for €150m, and not even for €200m. The club is determined to keep him. It remains to be seen what will be the player’s reaction to Madrid’s offer.
FIFA.com writer
Abdellah Boulma (via @iMiaSanMia) is reporting that Bayern Munich considers Olise to be ‘untouchable’:
Michael Olise is considered untouchable by Bayern.
Now, there are two questions that remain:
1 – Does Olise actually want this move?
2 – If he does, how will Bayern Munich react?
There is no indication that Olise actually wants the move, but there has yet to be any statement from Olise, his representatives, or Bayern Munich. It would be a shocking turn of events if Olise wants to leave Bayern Munich after two magnificent seasons.
Juve chasing Mamardashvili? (ESPN)
Juventus could be looking into a move for Liverpool FC backup goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili:
Juventus are interested in taking Liverpool backup goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili on loan for a season, if they can’t land the club’s No. 1 Alisson Becker on a permanent deal. Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juve have failed to convince Liverpool to part with Alisson, who has a deal until 2027. But with Mamardashvili looking for game time, a loan might benefit all parties.
Gunners getting closer to Rogers move? (ESPN)
Earlier this week, Aston Villa attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers was loosely linked to Bayern Munich. In reality, it seems like it is Arsenal or bust for Rogers and that move could be getting closer:
Arsenal are lining up a move for Aston Villa attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers, says TalkSPORT. Negotiations over an £80 million move have reportedly already taken place between the Gunners and the 23-year-old’s representatives, with manager Mikel Arteta hopeful that he could be Arsenal’s first marquee signing after winning the Premier League. Rogers directly contributed to 16 goals in 37 league matches for Villa last season, and he has also been linked with Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
Juve also wants Kim (TuttoJuve’s Mirko Di Natale)
As it has been speculated, Juventus could be a player this summer for Bayern Munich center-back Kim Min-jae. The Napoli connection between Kim and Juventus head coach Luciano Spalletti could be appealing to the South Korean, but the move might require the Bavarians to lower the requested fee or maybe a pay cut for Kim (Writer’s Note: This is my speculation as Juventus did not qualify for the Champions League and has been rumored to want to lower its salary budget):
Kim Min-jae is one of Juventus’ main targets to strengthen their backline this summer. Luciano Spalletti is pushing to reunite with the Korean defender after their time together in Napoli. Bayern want at least €30m for Kim, while Juve are working to lower the fee.
Chelsea wants Güler (El Nacional via ESPN)
Chelsea is reportedly going to prioritize a move for Real Madrid sensation Arda Güler:
Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso has made Real Madrid midfielder Arda Güler a transfer priority this summer, but Real Madrid are unwilling to let him leave.
Álvarez only wants Barca move (ESPN)
Julián Álvarez is not just going to leave Atlético Madrid for any club, he specifically wants to go to FC Barcelona:
Julián Álvarez has informed both Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain that his priority is to join Barcelona this summer, according to Mundo Deportivo. The Argentina international is said to have made his preference clear through his representatives, who are now focused on securing a move to the Camp Nou despite strong interest from elsewhere in Europe. Arsenal and PSG had both explored potential deals and remained hopeful of landing the Atlético Madrid forward, but Álvarez’s desire to join Barça has reportedly complicated their plans. Atlético remain reluctant to let him go to a direct LaLiga rival, however, and went on the offensive by accusing Barça of a “relentless smear campaign” and mocking their pursuit of Álvarez in a series of social media posts.
