It was an interesting week on and off the field for Juventus.
On the field, Juventus got a pair of wins, one each in Serie A and the Champions League. Both of those wins resulted in Juve moving up in the respective
league tables. (Funny how that works!) Juve were able to get closer to the top four in Serie A. That came after a second consecutive win in the Champions League that allowed them to move up another handful of spots in the league phase table as there is so much other craziness going on around them.
Then there’s the off-the-field matter at hand.
You know, the fact that Juve’s second-largest shareholder is trying to become the club’s majority owner and that there is that whole situation brewing off the field as Luciano Spalletti tries to get things turned around on the field going into the new year. Will this be the only bid? Will there be more to come? You kinda feel like the latter is much more possible than the former, and that is only going to add to what has become quite an interesting dynamic brewing between Tether and Exor.
Just another interesting week in the world of Juventus, that’s for sure.
