Actor Stephen Amell could be making his way back to WWE for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
Amell, the Canadian star of the CW series Arrow, was asked during a recent appearance on HeartRadio CA if he was keeping up with AEW and WWE.
“I’m not up to date with AEW. I’m certainly up to date with WWE. We are on the road to WrestleMania,” the Canadian star answered.
He then added: “I think I’m going to make a cameo on night two at WrestleMania this year.”
For the interview, Amell was joined by fellow actor Hamza Haq to promote their show The Borderline, which airs on CTV and Crave.
During the appearance, Haq and Amell were asked about the masked man who attacked Bron Breakker at the 2026 Royal Rumble. While Haq speculated Logan Paul was behind the ambush, Amell was less committal.
Amell also didn’t go into further detail about his possible role at WrestleMania or if he would be stepping into the ring again. He previously got involved with WWE after bonding with Cody Rhodes when The American Nightmare had a guest spot on Arrow.
Eventually, Amell worked his way up to a bona fide match at SummerSlam in 2015, teaming up with Neville (now known as PAC in AEW) to defeat Stardust (Cody) and Wade Barrett.
Three years later, Amell found himself working in AEW in a match against Christopher Daniels in 2018’s inaugural All In. Amell took the loss in that encounter and suffered a fractured hip for his efforts.
Amell’s ties to wrestling didn’t end with that injury, though, as he starred on the Starz series Heels about a small independent wrestling promotion. The show ran for two seasons.
