It’s not just the final month of the regular season for the Dodgers, but September also marks the end of the minor league campaign as well.
There is one week left in the seasons of both Class-A and High-A, and two weeks left in Double-A. Triple-A ends its regular season on September 20, one week ahead of the majors. Two Dodgers affiliates have already punched tickets into the postseason, and the other two are in position to potentially do the same.
Class-A Ontario clinched the second half of the California
League South Division on Sunday, and one week from today (September 8) will play first-half winner Lake Elsinore in a best-of-3 series to open the Cal League playoffs.
Double-A Tulsa in June won the Texas League North Division in the first half, and will battle second-half winner Springfield in a best-of-3 affair beginning September 15.
High-A Great Lakes has one week left in its season, and the Loons lead the Midwest League East Division in the second half

Great Lakes is at Lake County for seven games this week, including a doubleheader on Thursday to make up a rainout. West Michigan is at first-half winner Dayton. A fun quirk is that the June 20 rainout was in Great Lakes, so Thursday’s doubleheader at Lake County will consist of the first game with Lake County as the home team and the second game with Great Lakes as the home team.
