Monday Night Football: Vikings vs. Bears

The final game of the 2025 NFL season-opening weekend will be a Monday Night Football matchup featuring the Minnesota Vikings on the road against the Chicago Bears.

The Vikings lead the all-time series between these NFC North teams, 68-57-2, and have won seven of their last eight meetings. They last faced off back in December 2024, with Minnesota winning at home, 30-12.

Thanks to the Sam Howell trade, the Eagles own the Vikings’ sixth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The more the Vikings lose, the more favorable the pick will be for the Birds. Also, Chicago seems like the most preferable team to win the NFC North for the Eagles’ sake. Root for the Bears.
