On a Notre Dame site such as this, I generally like to stay clear of too many NFL opinions — for obvious reasons. Notre Dame, after all, is a national program with fans all over the country, and those
fans have differing NFL allegiances. As for myself… I’m a lifelong die-hard for the Green Bay Packers.
And yet… I will still have a rooting interest in the Super Bowl (as I always have). Despite wanting to push my I WAS 100% RIGHT ABOUT DRAKE MAYE agenda, I’m absolutely cheering for the Seattle Seahawks to beat the New England Patriots.
The Seahawks, after all, have Julian Love and there is a special place in my heart and the hearts of the podcast. Love is the inspiration for the name of the Earned 5-Star Podcast, and a Super Bowl ring cements that legacy even more.
But that’s just me.
