Bayern Munich attacker Serge Gnabry was potentially headed on his way out of town, but a resurgence has pushed him back into the mix within the team’s attacking group.
For the Germany international, the connection with the new players has been a big part of the reason why things have flowed so smoothly.
“At the moment, I’m playing so well that it’s worth playing me. With the new guys, we play well together. We connect well. The whole team – we’re really playing some good football. There are phases
where you win but do not play spectacularly but I think we‘ve been the better team in every game and that’s why everything is working now and I hope it’ll continue like this,” Gnabry told Bundesloga.com (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Gnabry’s role figures to lessen now that Jamal Musiala will be working his way back into the mix, but he might earn himself a new contract anyway. If that happens, he will probably credit those newcomers once again for bringing out the best in him.
