Florida State, after its second bye week of the season, returns to play this Saturday seeking its first ACC victory since September 21, 2024.
The Seminoles (3-4, 0-4 ACC) have gone 1-11 over the last two seasons in conference play, with their last four losses cratering what
looked initially to be a promising, bounce-back season for head coach Mike Norvell and his team, placing the program under fire once more. During that streak, Florida State has scored just once in the first quarter (vs. Pitt).
FSU will look to get back on the winning track with a home matchup vs. Wake Forest (5-2, 2-2 ACC), who are looking to become bowl eligible for the first time since 2022. The Demon Deacons, while 2-1 vs. Norvell, have won just nine of the 40 games played in the series, four of which were played in Tallahassee (1959, 2006, 2008, 2022).
